Went in for Sunday lunch and wow – absolutely spot on. Proper traditional village pub with a cosy open fire and low ceilings, full of character. The roast was huge, loads of proper roasties, tasty veg, and meat with gravy so good you could drink it. Couldn’t manage a pudding because I was too full! Great food, great atmosphere – will definitely be back soon.

Our first visit with friends to sample their “Pie Night” & wow was it good. Home made pies, great selection & really plenty of filling along with chips, (or mash potato), garden or mushy peas. We all agreed it was possibly the best pies we had ever eaten. 10/10. Must try the fish & chips Friday soon. 😋
